Palmer's Mexican Birthday - One Year Old

We celebrated Palmer's actual first birthday in grande style in the Mexican Mayan Riviera!  We were there for her Aunt Sara and Uncle Dan's wedding (the next day).  We threw a little party for her the week before but wanted to do something special on her actual birthday too.  I talked to a sweet chef named Surinder the night before and they made a little smash cake especially for her.  We thought we'd give her a chance to "re-do" the smash cake since it didn't go over well at her party.  The jury confirms that Palmer doesn't love smash cakes.  haha  She really enjoyed feeding it to me, though...and it was good!  Can't thank the staff at the Playacar Palace Resorts enough for making her birthday special.
